Introduction to ClinicSource

 

ClinicSource is software accessible via the Internet that can help you manage your therapy clinics. Using ClinicSource, you can manage everything for your clinic from documentation to billing, collections, and payroll. Since it is web-based, you can use it from any computer with an Internet connection.  ClinicSource is hosted remotely which means that you do not have to purchase software to install on individual computers or your network. When you open your browser, enter the URL provided and a login screen appears. After you login, you are ready to go.


Any size clinic can use ClinicSource from therapy clinics with four or five therapists to clinics with multiple locations; even locations in different states. ClinicSource is designed to grow with you and your needs.


Because your data is stored on the ClinicSource servers, you don't have to worry if your computers crash. ClinicSource uses the same security technology as financial institutions which means that all of the data exchanged between your computer and the ClinicSource servers is encrypted. Additionally, your data is backed up nightly in the data center and a secure, off-site location.


ClinicSource Interface

 

The ClinicSource interface has several common features that carryover from screen to screen. For example, the menu is the same for every screen though the Setup portion of the web site has a drop-down menu. Every screen has a toolbar with some common buttons and some buttons that change depending on the screen where you are working.

Menu


The ClinicSource menu appears at the top of the screen below the browser menu, toolbar and address bar. The following appear on the menu bar:

  • Schedule- View and make appointments
  • Documentation- Create the required documentation to submit to the insurance companies and government agencies.
  • Visits- Create and document the patients visit for billing and for documentation purposes.
  • Patients- Set up the patient's record including insurance information, authorizations and more.
  • Billing- Create invoices/claims to submit to the insurance companies and to the patients.
  • Payments- Apply payments to patient invoices.
  • Accounts- Lists the patient's charges, payments, and balance.
  • Payroll- Calculate payroll for therapists.
  • Reports- Generate various clinical and financial reports.
  • Help - User Guide, Video Tutorials ans Submit Support Ticket
  • Setup- Insurers, Physicians, Facilities, Goal Library, Diagnosis Codes, CPT Codes, Modalities, Reminders, Templates, Users/Therapists, Patient Portal and License Management.



Toolbar


The toolbar appears below the menu and contains buttons that lead to different screens where you provide more detailed information or perform some kind of action. For detailed information about buttons see the Help for that section.
