Submit Invoices 

Electronically

 

You may transmit claims electronically directly from the system to one of the supported clearing houses. Follow these instructions to submit an invoice/claim:

 

  1. On the Billing screen, select the Invoices sub tab .


  1. Check the check box adjacent to each invoice you wish to transmit.  Click the Check all check boxes in this column  button to check all check boxes.


  1. Click the Submit via EDI button. 


Once the invoice is submitted, its EDI Status will change to Pending.  The status will then change to Submitted or Error and stamped with a submit date after the EDI agent has picked up the invoice, created the claim file, and transmitted the claim to the clearing house.  This process takes less than 15 minutes.


Note: The insurer must be set up appropriately with an EDI Gateway before an invoice may be submitted electronically.
