CS Remind Overview
CS Remind is a system that intelligently notifies patients, practitioners, and others of upcoming appointments and due dates via customizable email and SMS message Templates as well as a telephone call. Furthermore, reminder recipients may confirm or cancel appointments from within the reminder phone call or text message conversation and also have the ability to reschedule via the Email Reminder communication. Thresholds can now be defined which can prevent a patient the ability of canceling or rescheduling based on a time prior to the scheduled appointment. The recipient’s response is updated in the ClinicSource scheduler reflecting the change.
Reminders are triggered from Reminder Rules set by users possessing the Reminders role. Appointment reminder rules may be set for patients or practitioners, while practitioners also have the ability to receive reminders for Evaluations and Care Plans due. The appointment rescheduling option and/or Cancellation option may be toggled on or off for reminder rules.
Reminder calls, emails and text messages are generated by the ClinicSource Reminder agent which runs approximately every 15 minutes and initiates the outbound calls, text messages and emails using the preset reminder rules.
